The Oswestry Christmas Video 2022 with rave reviews

The new Oswestry Christmas video for 2022 has received rave reviews online reaching over 40,000 people across the region.

Commissioned by Oswestry BID (Business Improvement District), the video was designed to celebrate Oswestry this Christmas with a positive feel-good message to encourage locals and visitors alike to enjoy the town’s shops, eateries, pubs and venues.

BID Manager, Adele Nightingale was thrilled with the video’s reception, saying “This year, we decided to go for a bold and creative video to show the region what a truly magical place Oswestry can be at Christmas time, with our wonderful shops and fabulous hospitality!”

The video takes place in some of Oswestry’s iconic spaces including Cae Glas Park, Oswestry Railway Station, Festival Square and Old Chapel Court, and featured local businesses Covent Garden Fruit & Veg, Upstairs Downstairs Cookshop, Amber’s Pizza Co., and Hermon Arts as the backdrop for scenes in the story.

“We’d like to thank everyone that played a part in the video from Painted Life Productions, the cast and supporters, to the shops and volunteers of Cambrian Heritage Railway,” said Adele.
