New Park Benches for Cae Glas Park from BID-awarded Welcome Back Fund

Oswestry’s Cae Glas Park has seen the introduction of several new picnic benches through the Welcome Back Fund awarded to Oswestry BID (Business Improvement District).

‘We worked together with Oswestry Town Council and Oswestry Borderland Tourism on the project,’ said Adele Nightingale, BID Manager, ‘and it was agreed to upgrade the picnic benches with a more accessible design, so everyone can sit and enjoy our award-winning park.’

There are even new parasols for those summer days, though that seems a little way off right now.
The replaced benches are also being refurbished to be given new locations around the park to create extra dwelling places, again funded by the Welcome Back Fund.
