Oswestry & Border History & Archaeology Group (OBHAG) will be presenting a talk on: ‘Bog Bodies and Head Cults’

With Tim Malim

Tim is Principal Archaeologist with the Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust and his talk will draw on his wide knowledge of Bronze and Iron Age culture.
The talk will take place at the Methodist Church Hall, Castle Street, Oswestry, starting at 7.30 p.m. New members and visitors are always very welcome at these monthly talks; there is a small entry fee: OBHAG members £2, visitors £5.  The talk will follow directly after the AGM (which will commence at 7.30 and is expected to be short, lasting around 15 minutes).

Full details of OBHAG’s activities including its monthly talks and lectures, and summer walks and visits are available on the group’s website at http://obhag.org.uk.
